Humility

If pride goeth before the fall would it not also be true that humility goeth before the rise?

“I don’t know” has become my mantra.  Over the years the knowledge that I think that I’ve acquired has become a burden.  A burden that I can only get rid of by writing books I suppose.  Nevertheless, trouble came when I started believing that I was somehow superior based on the knowledge I held.

I don’t know.

Humility is admitting the above sentence to yourself.  It’s quite freeing actually.  Google is smarter than you but it can’t listen with compassion to someone.  The one thing you have going for you is… you.

But you will not find the real you with the baggage of knowledge on your back.
