Generosity could change the world.  If you have any degree of common sense you will understand that there is enough to go around.  There is no real shortage of money or food, only generosity and effort.

It is too easy to point out that the ultra rich and governments hold back or block resources from those who are in need because it serves their agendas.  Oops, I guess I pointed that out anyways.  Oh well.

Those who don’t have a big pile of gold, food, money or power are NOT powerless.  Truth be told, it is these folks who hold all of the power because they are the majority.

Let’s stop complaining and make generosity our aim all year round.

Start with a smile.

I guarantee that if you start smiling (even if it is fake at first) you will end up in a better head and heart space.  Next, add some kind words to someone’s day.  Be genuine.  If you have $20 in your wallet, pay for the next five people in line at the coffee shop.  Sit and listen to an elder for a while.  They have a story to tell and this will make their day.  Donate time or money to a project involving making the lives of kids more fun, educational or interesting.  Help out in the inner-city.  Feed hungry people.  If you have a small business then offer your services to a large corporation for free for a day even though they could totally afford it.  You may be surprised in the end.  If you have millions in assets then give 10 random people $9999 today without any tax receipt.  I dare you to.  Do it anonymously, uncomfortably if need be and with love.  It’s just weighing you down anyways:)

The path of generosity is simple.  Give with love and you WILL receive what you give.  Stay with the first intention of that sentence though:  Give with love.

The more you give of yourself, the more you come to realize the abundance that you literally swim in and the amazing resource that are inherent to you.
