My five gems

My new working situation is proving quite interesting.  We sit in academics with students and work in unison with them.  One of today’s tasks was to read two “life lesson” stories and then write down five pieces of wisdom that you would pass on to those after you.  I began wondering if I was actually one of the students because these assignments seem relevant to everyone.  Life is school, no?

By February 16th of 2011 there were more than 156 million public blogs on the internet.  I’m not expecting to change the world.  This blog has been a lesson in self-discipline.  I could have called it http://www.mytwocents.com but some ass-wipe had already turned that awesome domain name into yet another useless portal site that does nothing but take up space while holding a great name hostage.  Uncreative assholes do that.  That is not bitterness, that is fact.  If you are one of those people then shame on you.  You are better than that!!!

Here are the five gems that I leave behind for anyone stumbling upon this blog.

1.  Love, above all, is the most important.

2.  Always make communication a priority.

3.  Focus on one thing.  Too many directions will divide your power and nothing will happen.  Coffee and drugs may make it seem like you are doing something but all you are really doing is coffee and drugs.

4.  Surround yourself with people smarter than you.  People who uplift you, rather than drag you down.

5.  Life is change, so make growth your aim.  The world’s job is adversarial in nature, so stand up to the challenge and overcome it.  Greater things await you on the other side.

Peace

I heard a great story the other day about worry and bills.  The caller was frustrated, as he said “what do you mean I don’t have to worry about paying the bill?  The bills need to be paid and I don’t want to end up on the street”.  The person on the other line said “I never said NOT to pay your bills.  The bills need to be paid.  Pick one up and go pay it.  I simply was informing you that you do not have to worry about paying them”.

How many times to we unnecessarily worry about things that will most likely never happen?  How many moments do we waste concerning our minds with situations that may just require the clarity of communication?  Don’t you know that worry is a form of prayer?  It is negative prayer.

I am here to tell you that there is absolutely nothing standing in your way today from feeling a deep peace within you.  Take the thing that you are worrying about today, disengage your emotional reactions surrounding it and let it go to that which organizes molecules into trees.  If your need to control the universe is stressing you out, then maybe you should let that shit go, no?

I cannot impose peace on the world.  I know that the elite profit from war and they seem to have an endless supply of slaves willing to perpetuate this atrocity.  I may not be able to stop this game but I can be at peace with myself and my world.  That is where we are empowered.

We have the thing.  We just needn’t worry about the thing.

Sponge bug square book

Yes, it is a Jehovah’s Witness magazine about how Satan rules the world.

I am not disagreeing with the premise but I’m thinking that long before that lying bastard was kicking about this beetles relatives were crawling about somewhere, unaware of how human beings think that they are so important.

I couldn’t figure out what this little black beetle was after.  Maybe he was getting high off of the paint residue?  Maybe he was ashamed and this is the only place he could hide his head?  I tried to motivate him to move by flicking his bum (do beetles have bums?) but he just said “hey!!!  It’s fucking awesome in here”…

So I just kept painting.

Non-profit

When I wrote the articles for my Non-profit corporation I was in the mindset of not for profit.  Subsequently, it didn’t take off because everyone I enlisted had to go back to work the next day.  My federal corporation is dormant.  I keep it around because it reminds me of my ideals.

In order to create a not for profit corporation, it has to fall into one of four purposes.

1.  Religious Organization

2.  Community Development

3.  Education

4.  Relief of Poverty

In order to create a for profit corporation, it only has to fall into one purpose.

1.  Generate Profit for shareholders.

It doesn’t matter if it harms the environment, lays people off, puts mom and pop out of business or exploits kids for cheap labor.  It’s just business and business  is a game.

I always appreciated the non-profit.  Not as a business model.  As a business model it sucks.  After all it’s “non-profit”.  As a mindset it is how I believe we should be thinking about one another.

My not for profit corporation is called ‘de-facto’.  It means ‘what actually exists despite what is currently established’.  I realize the irony of establishing a corporation called de-facto but my hope was to use it to point to what actually exists.  What actually exists is life, people and inter-action.  This is what we would be wise to get back to; The business of loving one another.  Crazy, I know.

So here it is:  The non-profit mindset.

It is called ‘love’ and the mission is to love one another.  No easy task, I know.  It involves radical forgiveness, sharing and getting out of our comfort zones.  It is a religious organization because the word ‘religion’ means ‘re’ as in back and ‘legion’ as in to join.  Re-legion:  to go back to our source (which I know is love).

As a religious organization in love and seeking to serve one another, its purpose obviously involves community development.  I have my ideas for community development and it involves drumming and music.  What are yours?  That is the beauty of what actually exists despite current establishments; you get to use your talents, gifts and capital for community development.

The corporation of Love (body of love) is about educating yourself and then sharing what you learn with others.  Educating one another with our talents, gifts and passion.  The corporation of Love does NOT condone fanaticism in any way, shape or form.  Those behaving in this way are not part of Love Inc.

Last but not least… the relief of poverty.  We live in an abundant world.  There is no shortage.  There is however controlled shortage and we must speak out against this.  Scarcity is a lie.  The relief of poverty will come quite naturally when we truly love one another, develop our community together and educate ourselves then share our discoveries.

Money has never been the problem in this world.  The only single problem in this world is a mindset.  The good news is that we each get to choose which mindset we want to participate with…

Every moment.

If you want to join this corporation then do it.  It’s invisible and everywhere.

The Point?

The point of my last post was simple.  All words can ever be are symbols that point to phenomena which exists beyond words.  How could I paint you a picture of infinity?  What would be the purpose of our loud arguments about what silence is or is not be?  And why on Earth would I desire to limit the vastness?  My thoughts are the clouds that float in this vastness.  If I pay too much attention to my own thoughts, then I typically end up in a storm of limitation.

Yes, words can hurt.  But that is only because of our attachment to our limited identity and outcomes.  Words can hurt in other ways that we typically don’t think about.  Words can lead us into believing lies or false infinities.  I am in no way implying that we all walk around in silent reverence of the vastness only to bow to one another and point in frustration at things we want.  I am suggesting that we see language as a creative art rather than a stasis or a means rather than an end.

Scissors

My friend Trevor and I used to discuss the infinite all of the time.  One of our many topics included light travel.  My joke was that in order to travel ‘light’ you can’t have any human baggage.

At age 23, it was obvious to me that light has to catch up to the black holes we call our eyes in order to be perceived.  How can we accurately measure the movement of something when the measuring device is also moving at an uncalculated speed?  I think Einstein did too much Cocaine.

Regardless of this, we would pretend to be theoretical physicists and postulate all sorts of notions.  One of these notions had a prop…  scissors.

We close the scissors and imagine a line that extends toward infinity from the blades.  Once the imaginary line reaches a distance that is almost unfathomable, we then open and close the scissors really fast.  Here on Earth we are simply opening and closing scissor blades.  Our imaginary lines are travelling at incomprehensible speeds toward infinity however.

To simplify this even further, imagine two lines extending toward infinity from the open blades.  The blades reach 186,000 miles apart (approximate light speed per second).  Close and open them four times per second and you have (theoretically) demonstrated a speed four times faster than light speed.

This is the first time I’ve tried to explain this with words so I thank you for your patience:)  I used to explain it with acid and a series of grunts and laughs.

The drop off

After the experience, they dropped me off (back on Earth) and said something that still echoes in my mind to this very day.  They said “the only UFO that you need ever concern yourself with is the one you might be on right now”.

This was especially interesting after our conversation about the holotropic universe and what they called “adamantine” particles.  Particles, that are made up of wave-like strings that are made of particles.  They claimed that this was the basis to the matter-energy conversion process and that these were the particles of infinity that our human scientists are currently looking for.  One of them kept inferring something by saying the word ‘reflect ion’ in that broken up way.  It was like he was the poet in the pod using english words to describe how ionic activity is affected by our electromagnetic thought and emotional outputs.

All in all, they were really fun.  They used pictures to communicate in a way.  They didn’t show me pictures per se, rather it was more like a holographic image projection into the imaging faculty of my brain.  I said, “why are you showing me all of this?” to which they uniformly responded “we just want to see what you will do with the information.”

There’s more to the story but most people don’t read on the internet and it would take up approximately 111 pages.  Just remember that the only UFO that you need ever concern yourself with is the one you might be on right now.  After all, reality is made of light.  This includes you and everything you experience.

That’s all.

No probes were used in the making of this post.
