Limits

I contemplate the idea of money probably more than I should.  It just seems like the one Earthly thing that affects everyone and everything.  While it’s obvious that it co-facilitates feelings of greed or scarcity within an emotional environment where “enough” hasn’t been made a priority, one reality alludes most…

Money is a fiction.

I will do my best to refrain from my usual ranting about banking systems.  You are welcome:)  I contemplate why we, as potentially unlimited creative beings would honor such a limiting concept.  I wonder how we can bring money back to its original intent of facilitating the goods and services between human beings as a neutral medium.

On my home planet, money and great ideas are one.  There are no politicians, only people who are screened, interviewed and hired to facilitate the manifestation of the great ideas.  We see what needs to be done and we do it as opposed to Earth where most see what needs to be done and then make excuses for it.  It is a simple way of being but I believe it could actually work on planet Earth.

The next time someone tells you of a great idea, refrain from immediately commenting that the idea would cost a fortune and just listen.  Just because the limiting idea of money is at large in this world doesn’t mean that we as creative beings have to play host to it.  Stretch and expand your brain as opposed to encasing in concrete.

Hope your day is great!

If…

If we lose a car, there is an opportunity for a new, better car or to save money by walking.

If our house burns down, there is a chance to build a new life.

If we lose our job the potential for growth awaits as we take a new direction toward our true vocation and purpose.

If someone should die, there is a moment to reflect on our own life and make any necessary adjustments to become more loving and kind.  We only have this moment.  Life is a precious gift.

If we part ways we have an opportunity to go knowing that we assisted each other in growth, have many cherished memories and are complete within ourselves.  New experiences are just around the corner.

If we should die, let’s die knowing that ours was and is an example of a life well lived.  Let’s leave with a smile, knowing that the world is a better place for the gifts we gave with our heart.

Energy Matters

Energy can not be created or destroyed.  This means that everything that ever was and ever will be…

Is.

I’ve been contemplating this for years and every time I pick it up, my mind stretches as my brain tightens.  Some of us humans walk about believing that we are accidental bodies in a random universe.  Our mind is on matter so to speak hence the term “what’s the matter”?  Another side to this is that each of us are the center of an infinite universe.  I’m ok with that ideology but it is not what I see.  That seems like a narrow, ego-centric way of seeing the world.

An infinite universe would imply that the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere but I’m not sure that means I’m in charge or that I need to figure it all out.  I also let go of these matters because matter is just dense energy and to me, that means trapped energy.

It makes more sense that everything ‘appears’ or ’tends’ to be.  This is more accurate than “this is what I feel or think” or “that’s just the way it is”.  This phenomena we call ’life’ is an arising.  There are many differing groups (scientific and religious) that have become so dogmatic that there is no talking to them whatsoever.  I use science and religion loosely because these groups are political… they have an agenda.

I’ll clarify.  Science is our birthright tendency to explore this phenomena we called the universe.  We must be open and curious in order to expand our awareness.  If the entire “UNI VERSE” is one phenomena arising as a tendency and we are that arising then it follow suit that the purpose of religion is to re-legion; rejoin or re-yolk us to the original form and function.  Otherwise, it’s just more bullshit ideology that perpetuates our illusion of separateness.

It is easier to believe than it is to understand, and whatever put us here gave us all the tools to understand.

Much like a loving observing parent allows us to be ourselves.  We are given all of the tools.  Some of us attempt to control reality through knowledge and power.  Some of us argue about whose dad is stronger and better.  Some of us smile with the subtle knowing that we are loved and are love.

Regardless, everything is ONE thing.  I cannot understand for the life of me how we became so easily fooled into believing that we must fight for survival, rebel and do it on our own.  It is like an illness or worse… species adolescence.

Whatever your ideas or beliefs are, I suggest that you take the day or a moment to contemplate how absolutely fucking incredible it is that any of this even exists in the first place.

I end with the beginning:

Energy can not be created or destroyed.  This means that everything that ever was and ever will be…

Is.

The Vacuum

Suddenly, it is all different as the blink of an eye changes us forever.  For better or worse is up to us.  The Vacuum can represent our inertia or inability to change.  A lot of times it facilitates that very change as the constant.

In this case, I am happy to let go into you with the faith that our colors will blend beautifully.  I resist nothing of you.

Bloodletting

I don’t have a write up for this painting yet.  I use my hands when I paint.  As I was mixing the acrylic with sand I sliced my right index finger open on a staple that was sticking out of the back side of the canvass.  Perfect.  I washed the paint/sand off of my hands, realized that I was bleeding quite profusely and decided to go with it.  The dark raindrops on the painting are the many drips of blood from my finger.  It is still throbbing as I type this today.

Can’t stump life

It is an over simplified metaphor and a very blurry picture.  I apologize on both accounts.  Perhaps the blurry picture is yet another metaphor for things coming into focus?  I don’t know.  Either way… blurry picture.

I posted about how I love seeing life burst through the cement sidewalk in Persistence.    I witness a lot of really great things in life.  The tree stump metaphor is just a further reminder of what can happen when we feel cut down.  Sometimes, literally by big burly men with lumber jackets and chain saws.  But I digress.

Life is a tree.  It can be as simple as that.  It breathes.  We sit under it for shade or hang a swing from it (in the olden days… people), We climb it, it gives fruit or oxygen and sometimes we cut it down.  Regardless of what it is or how it is, life keeps growing and giving.

And I love it.

The Harvest Union

Complete is the seed.  Love is the soil.  Nourishment is the water.  The sun is our passion and enthusiasm as we nurture one another in who we are.  Our work together is to love and love is enough.  In our union we enjoy the fruits of our harvest.  We feed one another with the simplicity of our love.  Nothing shall overcome that.
