Imagine

Jesus the Christ spoke about a world ruled by love.  A new Earth, where everyone inhabitant worked in service of one another… as a brother, sister, friend and loved one under one Father.  The Grand Original Design.

Imagine, a world where life-giving technologies weren’t supressed.  A world where everyone local worked in service of every other locally to make sure that provisions were met.  A world of celebration, dance, music and healing.  A world that encouraged great ideas and facilitated talent in order to create the best innovation for everyone.  A world that fed the hungry, rather than make them “pay” for basic essentials.  A place where it was impossible for banks to manipulate the energy of people so that they could profit and rule while the people slaved to pay back non-existent debt.  A world of wonder….

Just like when you were a child.  You were full of wonder and possibility.

Ram Dass wrote, “the world is filled with hungry bellies and store-houses of food”.

The only separation is our will.

What a revolutionary idea:  live and work in service of one another instead of our self and a illusionary debt.

Return of the random

121.  I feel that a good non-profit initiative would be “Blue tooth for the homeless”.  This way, they could rant about the government or mumble loudly and people around them would see the Blue tooth ear piece and just think “oh, they must be talking to their friend”.  How nice?

122.  Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch Irish Wristwatch.

123.  Jesus loves you is a beautiful statement unless you’re in a Mexican prison.

124.  I purchased this:

It was amongst other suckers in the “barn animals” category at a toy store for kids, but we ALL know that it is technically a “cock sucker”.

125.  I find it amusing that governments label cigarette packages with warning labels about how bad it is while they reap the financial benefits from the addictions of those they are supposed to protect and serve.  Fuckers.

126.  That being said, I’m so thankful that America/Britain/Israel is “liberating” the middle east and look forward to the worlds first Muslim lady gaga.

127.  I find people who are offended by the word ‘retard’ to be retarded.  We now have to write the word ‘disAbled’ with the emphasis placed on capitalizing the ‘A’ for ability or say ‘handicapable’.  I get it, but my spell check doesn’t .  I’m pretty sure my handicapable friend picking his balls and then smelling his hand in a grocery store does not care about this debate.  In the meantime, let’s make kids toys promoting inclusion…

The stuffed buffalo represents the assholes who park in the close spots without a permit.

128.  I have a question relating to random thought number 127, but first a rant; People who spend their time on Earth changing words or terms like retard, indian, gay, mail ‘man’ etc, to more politically correct terms like disAbled, native, first persons, hetro-sexually challenged, mail person should be punched in the face repeatedly.  My question is simple:  What were you before you were black, retarded, native, heterosexual, homosexual, man, women or indian?

129.  Humans are the only animals on Earth that don’t realize they are already in paradise.  Subsequently, we continue to build skyscrapers over top of that paradise.

130.  Oscar the grouch no longer lives in a garbage can.  He moved.  It is still a garbage can, but it was sold to him as a condo and he now has equity.

131.  All in all, we are just these strange beings standing in a field, blinking our eyes at each other wondering what the fuck is going on.  We build work buildings, housing structures, schools, malls and fences but the reality is that we are just these strange little beings standing in a field, blinking our eyes at each other, still, wondering what the fuck is going on.

132.  The goat caucus was “asked all in favor”?

There was a silence…

All opposed???

A resounding “Naaaaaaaaay”.

Harmony

Enjoy your family today.

The past 11 posts have been about what I’ve chosen to call the attributes of Christmas.  More than just once per year to honor the birth of Jesus, I encourage everyone to make these part of your daily life.  All of them work in harmony with one another.  At very least, you will smile more.

Why not honor the birth of Jesus everyday?  Even if you don’t call your self a ‘Christian’, He did nothing wrong and left us a perfect blueprint for how we as humans could be living.  Just sayin.

The word Harmony comes from the Latin ‘Harmonia’ which means a joining.  When we make it our intention to work in harmony with life, life responds accordingly.  Chaos, discord and confusion is what the world is.  We can fall into that worldly trap or free ourselves from it and work together to make this place awesome.  Where there is no sense, make sense.  Where there is chaos, create order.  Where there is discord, bring peace and harmony.

A good melody is great.  Find someone who is doing something great and join them.  If you are doing something great, invite someone who you think is great to join you in your venture.

Harmony enhances melody.

Thank God it’s Friday…

For some reason none of these dudes thought it was funny when I walked out in front of them naked with my arms stretched out like Jesus.

Forgiving & Giving

Forgiving to me, is about completely letting go of wrongs into the future.  It is something that happens in the moment.  We tend to think in terms of past behaviors when we speak of forgiving.  In other words, I forgive you for this or that.  I don’t feel that this is what forgiveness is about.  Forgiveness is a state of being; a perpetual letting go in the moment.  It is a way.

The most important one to forgive is ourselves.  Until that moment occurs, we cannot move forward.  This is the hardest task to do.  I still struggle with it.  It is easy for me to let someone walk all over me and then forgive them because I’m yet to forgive myself about something.  In this case, I may feel deserving of their crappy behavior.  When I truly forgive myself and let go I can then stand up to put an end to this nonsense.  Forgiveness is freedom and it allows us to do the next great thing….

Giving.  From a state of clarity, we can truly give of ourselves.  More of us becomes available to others in a genuine way.  My dream is for human beings to let go of  hoarding and working to get more for themselves and instead, invest our time giving to one another.  Our work could be focused around making sure that everyone is cared for.  In the end, I believe that we’d find ourselves cared for more than we could imagine.  I realize that this will be a challenging transistion but I do believe it necessary and possible.

We have the grace to do so.

Agents & Attractors

Agents come in many forms.  If you work in any capacity using a social insurance or social security number then you are a government agent.  Most people do not know this but that is not what this post is about.

Change agents are those who influence the status quo for better or worse.  Hitler was a change agent.  Al Gore is a change agent.  Typically, these are people with agendas (political or personal).  Some of them may be representatives of people with agendas.  In the case of Hitler, he was backed by the IBM corporation and George Bush’s Grandfather’s.  I honestly, wish I made this shit up.

Al Gore has a political agenda.  It’s that simple.  This post isn’t about character assassination, it is contrasting the definition of change agent with the following:

Future attractor.

Futures are generated as quantum transtemporal looping reflections in hyperspace-time relative to present time.  Say that fives times really fast.

Jesus was a future attractor.  Gandhi was a future attractor.  The person who is afraid of public speaking and conquers that fear is a future attractor.  Everything we do in this present moment (thought, word and deed) pulls the future to us.  Bottom line, a future attractor is someone who inspires us from the inside… from their heart through their being.

Some could argue the politics of Jesus or Gandhi in relation to Hitler or Gore.  It makes for interesting dialog no?  What I am getting at is that an agent for change comes with an agenda and this implies force.  A future attractor has the power of simply being in order to bring about future events.

Gandhi motivated people by literally doing nothing.  “Be the change” are his words.

Preaching and dictating fall short of being and living as an example.

As you go about your day, ask yourself if you are one or the other.  You may say ”I’m neither” but that is a lie.

The chain

I remember my parents receiving chain letters in the mail.  These letters would tell about all of the great things that would happen to people continuing the chain and all of the terrible events that would befall those who broke the chain.  Try to read that last part with a spooky foreboding voice for effect.

Enter the internet.

I don’t know how many times that I’ve had to ask people to “please, please, stop sending me this shit”.  Most of these emails would say ‘send to nine people and the one who sent it to you”.  In order to avoid conflict at first, I would just blind copy it and send it back to the superstitious human sending it to me.

The one that finally pushed me over the edge told me that if I didn’t send it to 10 people it meant that I was embarrassed of Jesus and would be condemned for it.  Wow.  Really?  Chain letters can affect my entrance into the Kingdom?  I don’t remember reading that in the bible.

So I spoke up and took a stand.

Now, I am happy to report that I do not receive this bullshit anymore and my life is unfolding just as it should.  Regardless of all of the chains I have broken (again, with a foreboding voice).  That being said, the end of time will tell if I show up to the gates of paradise with angels shaking their heads saying, “oh my, you really should have sent that Jesus chain mail to 10 people”.

Ps.  I’m still waiting for my $50 000 dollars from Bill Gates.

oooooohhhhh yeeeeaaah!!!

I used to be a huge fan of wrestling before I reached the age where I realized that it was all bullshit.  I believe I was 9.  Besides that, I had no desire to pursue a career as a monster truck driving redneck.  I have nothing against monster truck driving rednecks.  It would be great to drink Coors light in a Mr. turtle pool all day!

Even though I am no longer a wrestling enthusiast, I did make a sad face when I recently found out that Macho Man Randy Savage died.  He died May 20, 2011 which was the same day as my art show opening.  I just found out this week but that is what happens when one doesn’t watch T.V. or read newspapers.

So I found a tribute picture in order to honor the life of someone who entertained me as a kid.  Look out Jesus… here comes the Macho Man!!!

If you are a Christian please don’t be offended by this picture.  Wrestling is fake.  Jesus wins the match and remains the champ.

Even 10 more random thoughts

1.  I love doing these random thoughts because I really have to think on my feet.  This, as opposed to on my meds.

2.  A great name for a bar would be ‘Alcoholics Unanimous’.

3.  Humans don’t have as much impact on the universe as we tend to think.  If it is moving toward entropy, it has nothing to do with us.

4.  Jesus probably would not wear a what would Jesus do braclet!

5.  Homeless people could learn a lot from people who have homes.

6.  Really though, where ever you lay your head is your home so we should call them ‘houseless’.  Still, they could learn a lot from people with houses.

7.  An appropriate name for Jewish penguins would be ‘The Iceburgs’.  Don’t even get me started on the Bernstein Bears.  First off, bears cannot be dentists or own media companies.

8.  Time could simply be a psychological trick that arises from the appearance of moving parts within the infinite universe.  How do I know the universe is infinite?  Because LSD told me so in my twenties and it still makes perfect sense to this very day.  If anyone would like to counter this idea, then please do.

9.  Our eyes are black holes and light has to catch up to us in order to be perceived.  So, how fast are we travelling then?  Relatively speaking of course.

10.  Sometimes life is like a box of chiclets.  You get two small chewy squares that inevitably taste like shit within a minute.

Miracles and such

I was imagining what would happen if Jesus manifested 5000 fishes and loaves to feed hungry people in North America these days.  Here’s what I think would happen:

Upon witnessing the miracle, parts of the crowd arose and with whining voices exclaimed the following,

“I’m allergic to seafood;  I don’t like fish;  but there’s mercury in it; fish have souls and I’m a vegan;  I can’t eat gluten because of my Celiac’s disease; too many carbs in bread dude;  ewwww, its white bread;  yeah man, white bread has a tonne of preservatives in it.”

Jesus, slightly frustrated says, “ok, well how about some wine?  Just give me some water.  And the people reply, “is it red or white?  Because red wine gives me a headache and sulphites are bad for you”.

The frustration grows and Jesus finally says, “alright!  Forget the food and wine!  How about just some water?”

“Is it chlorinated?  Is there fluoride in it?  Because fluoride is a neurotoxin!”  Respond the crowd.

And with a wave of his hand Jesus makes the people disappear.
